Central Railway’s Railway Protection Force (RPF) recently took action against two individuals who were caught trespassing into the Motorman’s cabin of a stationary local train at Kasara station. The two accused, identified as Raja Himmat Yerwal (20) and Ritesh Hiralal Jadhav (18) from Nashik, were apprehended after one of them entered the Motorman’s cabin while the other filmed the incident and uploaded it on social media.
The Central Railway RPF, in collaboration with the Cyber Cell, managed to track down and arrest the duo on 8th August 2024. Upon interrogation, the accused admitted to their actions, stating that they entered the Motorman’s cabin to create a video for social media. As a result, they were charged under CR NO.1200/24, sections 145(b) and 147.
This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of following rules and regulations, especially when it comes to railway safety. Unauthorized entry into restricted areas can pose serious risks not only to the individuals involved but also to the safety of passengers and railway staff. It is crucial to report any such incidents immediately to the authorities in order to prevent potential harm.
Central Railway’s swift response to this trespassing case highlights their zero-tolerance policy towards such offenses. The recent rise in similar incidents, such as the case of Gulzar Sheikh from Northern Railway who was arrested for tampering with railway tracks for videos, underscores the need for increased vigilance and adherence to safety protocols.
Passenger safety remains a top priority for Indian Railways, and strict legal action will be taken against anyone found violating railway laws and regulations. The public is urged to cooperate with authorities and report any suspicious activities on railway premises to the designated contact numbers provided.
By staying vigilant and following guidelines, we can all contribute to creating a safe and secure travel environment for everyone. Let us prioritize safety and responsible behavior to ensure a smooth and incident-free railway experience for all passengers.
