Family Feud Turns Deadly: Murder Over Land Dispute
The arrested man, Rupesh Lakshan Waghe, allegedly bashed his relative’s head in with a stone multiple times during the argument. The victim, Bua Daulya Korde, was 45 years old and lived in the same neighborhood as Waghe. It turns out, Waghe was actually married to Korde’s niece, adding another layer of drama to the whole messed-up situation.
The police reported that there had been ongoing tension between the two due to Korde’s habit of being abusive towards his niece when he was drunk. Like, not cool, man. And apparently, there was this whole land dispute that had been going on for a while, causing even more arguments between them. On the day of the incident, Korde showed up at his niece’s place wasted as usual and started going off about the land issue. He even tried to attack his niece, setting off a heated argument between him and Waghe. The whole thing escalated when Waghe, in a moment of pure rage, grabbed a stone and went to town on Korde’s head, killing him right then and there. And get this, the villagers just stood by and watched because they were too scared of Waghe. Talk about a messed-up situation. The Bhiwandi Taluka Police were called in by the villagers, who then arrested Waghe and sent Korde’s body for a post mortem. A police officer from the station said they’re looking into the whole thing and that Waghe is facing murder charges.
