IRCTC Launches Exclusive Tent City Packages for Maha Kumbh
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has exciting news for all the devotees gearing up for the upcoming Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The bookings for the Maha Kumbh Punya Kshetra Yatra train, which will embark on a round-trip journey from Pune on January 15, 2025, and conclude on February 5, 2025, are now open. The train will cover a duration of seven nights and eight days, offering devotees a convenient and hassle-free travel experience to the holy event.
The tent packages are available in two categories, with prices starting at Rs 12,000 plus taxes. The Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj is scheduled to commence on January 13, 2025, and conclude on February 26, 2025, attracting millions of devotees from across the country.
Train Route and Ticket Fares
The train route for the Maha Kumbh Punya Kshetra Yatra includes stops at Pune, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, and back to Pune, with boarding points at multiple locations. The ticket fares are divided into three categories—economy (SL-500) priced at Rs 22,940, standard (3AC-200) priced at Rs 32,440, and comfort (2AC-50) priced at Rs 40,130, catering to different preferences and budgets of the devotees.
