So, like, the Bandra police is all up in arms about these threats that got sent to Zeeshan Siddique over email, supposedly from the ‘D-Company,’ whoever that is. They even added six extra cops to guard his house because of it. How wild is that?
I don’t really get it, but like, the sender used some fancy-schmancy thing called a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to send three emails – one each day from Saturday to Monday. And apparently, Zeeshan Siddique had asked for more protection for his fam even though he already had Y security.
The cops have filed a report and are working with the cyber police to track down the sender. Could be a prank, but they’re not taking any chances. They’re trying to find the IP address of the person behind it all.
It all started on Saturday with an email demanding ₹10 crore for protection money, or else they’d off him. The next emails were just annoying reminders of the same thing. Zeeshan only found out about it on Monday because he didn’t check his inbox on the weekend.
Zeeshan’s dad, Baba Siddique, got shot last year outside his son’s office, so I guess they’re not taking any risks this time around.
