India Extends Aid to Typhoon-Hit Myanmar, Vietnam, and Laos through ‘Operation Sadbhav’
India has stepped up to provide much-needed humanitarian aid to the countries of Myanmar, Vietnam, and Laos in response to the devastating impact of Typhoon Yagi. Under the initiative named ‘Operation Sadbhav,’ External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar announced the dispatch of 10 tonnes of aid, including dry rations, clothing, and medicines to Myanmar via the Indian Navy ship INS Satpura. Additionally, a C-130J aircraft of the Indian Air Force has been deployed to transport 35 tonnes of relief supplies to Vietnam and 10 tonnes to Laos.
