A tragic incident occurred in Kalyan East where a 12-year-old student from Ideal School took his own life by hanging himself at home. The student, Vignesh Patro, was in class VIII and left a note before his untimely death. In the note, he mentioned that he was driven to suicide due to the harassment he faced from a teacher at the school.

The family of the deceased has pointed fingers at the school teacher for the constant torment that led Vignesh to such a drastic step. This case has sparked outrage among parents and community members, especially considering another recent incident where a student from Sacred Heart School in Warap also committed suicide due to issues with school authorities’ behavior.

Senior Police Inspector Ashok Kadam from Kolsewadi Police Station is leading the investigation into the matter to uncover the truth behind the allegations of harassment by the teacher. It is concerning to see a pattern emerging where students are resorting to such extreme measures as suicide because of mistreatment at their schools.

Parents are demanding justice and stricter measures to be taken against those responsible for creating an environment where students feel helpless and overwhelmed. The authorities need to address these issues promptly to prevent more tragedies from occurring in the future.

It is vital for schools to provide a safe and supportive environment for students to learn and grow without fear of harassment or abuse. The mental health and well-being of students should be a top priority for educators and school administrators to ensure that such heartbreaking incidents do not happen again. Everyone in the community must come together to support each other during this difficult time and work towards creating a safer and healthier educational environment for our children.
