Renowned industrialist Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus of Tata Group, passed away at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, leaving behind a legacy that has touched the lives of millions. Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan described him as the “conscience keeper of the Indian industry and the nation,” highlighting his contributions to the global Tata empire.
Ratan Tata, known for upholding ethics and moral values, modernized the Tata Group and transformed it into a trusted Indian global brand. Governor Radhakrishnan emphasized the importance of adopting the values of trust, excellence, and innovation that were dear to Ratan Tata as India strives towards becoming a developed nation.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced that Ratan Tata will be cremated with full state honors, recognizing his immense contributions to society. Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar also paid tribute to the late industrialist, acknowledging the void left by his passing.
Ratan Tata’s body will be kept at the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) in Mumbai for the public to pay their respects before the cremation in Worli. His remarkable legacy and commitment to a sustainable future will continue to inspire generations to come.
