Maharashtra SSC results for 2025 were just announced at a cool 1 pm on a Monday. A grand total of 16,10,908 students signed up for the exam across the state’s nine divisional boards. Out of that number, 15,98,553 students actually showed up for the exams that went down from February 21 to March 17.
In a bit of a twist, the girls ended up outshining the boys this time around, with an overall pass percentage of 96.14, compared to the boys’ 92.31 percent who cleared the exam. Looks like the girls are really bringing their A-game this year!
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde shared some words of wisdom, saying that the rising success rate of girls in the SSC exam is a positive reflection of the changing times. He commended the girls for becoming more self-reliant through education and attributed their achievements to their hard work and family support.
The Deputy CM emphasized the importance of the SSC exam as a pivotal moment in a student’s academic journey. He noted that success in this stage doesn’t just come from exam performance, but also from dedication, parental support, and teacher guidance.
Shinde also had some encouraging words for students who didn’t quite hit the mark this time. He reminded them that failure is just a stepping stone towards success and urged them to reflect on their performance, learn from mistakes, and come back stronger next time.
Meanwhile, Education Minister Dadaji Bhuse joined in to congratulate the successful students, highlighting the significance of the SSC exam in shaping a student’s educational path. He encouraged those who didn’t make the cut to take the supplementary test and keep striving for success.
Impressively, a whopping 9,673 differently-abled students registered for the exam, with 92.27 percent of them passing with flying colors. Additionally, out of 23,489 schools, 7,924 schools achieved a perfect 100 percent pass result. Now that’s what you call some serious dedication!
With 4,88,745 students passing with distinction in first class and 4,97,277 clearing the exam with first class, it’s clear that hard work pays off. The message here is clear: success is within reach for those who put in the effort.
So, while the overall pass percentage dipped slightly this year, the achievements of the students, especially the girls, are definitely worth celebrating. As Deputy CM Shinde rightly said, success always awaits those who are prepared to seize it.
