The builder, Mangesh Gaykar, was reportedly cleaning his gun when it accidentally misfired, according to police sources. The bullet struck Gaykar’s hand and then shattered the office glass, causing injuries to his son as well.
Both injured parties are currently receiving treatment at Meera Hospital in Kalyan. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) and other officers have arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigations into the case.
