Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has called on state finance ministers to consider reducing the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on flex-fuel vehicles to a rate of 12 per cent. Speaking at the India Bio-Energy & Tech Expo organized by IFGE, Gadkari emphasized the importance of reducing imports of fossil fuels and promoting the use of biofuels in the country.
