Passengers at Adani Airports in India are facing temporary disruptions in lounge services, causing frustration among travelers. Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) operates seven major airports in the country, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram, and Mangaluru.
One passenger expressed their frustration, stating that the disruption is particularly inconvenient for those with international flights, as arriving early at the airport to relax in the lounge is a common practice to avoid missing flights due to unforeseen delays or lengthy procedures. However, with lounge access suspended, passengers are left waiting at the terminal gates instead.
AAHL addressed the issue by attributing the disruptions to the unexpected suspension of services by Dreamfolks Services Ltd, a lounge access provider partnered with several banks at the affected airports. Despite requests to restore services, Dreamfolks has yet to comply. As an interim solution, lounges at Adani-operated airports are now accepting all major debit and credit cards from other access providers.
In response, Dreamfolks stated that they are working with their partners to identify the root cause of the disruptions and implement solutions promptly. They emphasized that their contractual agreements remain in full force and that they are committed to minimizing inconvenience to passengers while striving to restore normal operations swiftly.
The priority for both AAHL and Dreamfolks is to ensure a seamless travel experience for passengers. While the current disruptions are causing inconvenience, efforts are being made to rectify the situation and enhance the service framework for the future.
