With more heavy rainfall expected, Mumbaikars are advised to avoid unnecessary travel in the afternoon and evening to prevent further waterlogging.
In addition to the concerns in Mumbai, the city of Pune is also facing a flood alert as rivers in the area are swelling due to increased water release from dams. The IMD has issued a red alert for Pune, urging residents to stay safe amidst the continuous heavy rainfall.
