Leading the way in India’s fight against terrorism, Supriya Sule, a Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) leader, is set to head an all-party delegation to represent the country in various world capitals. Emphasizing the importance of speaking as responsible Indians, Sule stated, “This is a huge responsibility. Whatever we say during our outreach, we will say it as responsible Indians” during a press conference in Mumbai.

The delegation, which includes eight other members from different political parties, will visit Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia, and South Africa. The members are gearing up to highlight India’s strong message of zero tolerance against terrorism and showcase the country’s national consensus and unwavering commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms.

Following a briefing by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the remaining delegations are scheduled to depart on Saturday. Sule mentioned, “We will discuss only after the MEA briefs us. Briefing of the remaining four groups has been scheduled for tomorrow, and we will leave for our visit the day after tomorrow.”

The operation, named Operation Sindoor, was launched in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, where 26 people lost their lives. In retaliation, the Indian Armed Forces targeted terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the elimination of over 100 terrorists associated with groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen.

In a recent development, a delegation from India met with officials in the United Arab Emirates and Japan to garner support for India’s fight against terrorism. The meetings resulted in affirmations of support for India’s efforts, with officials acknowledging that terrorism has no religion or nationality and is an enemy of humanity.

The delegations’ visits and interactions with representatives from other countries aim to convey India’s strong stance against terrorism and its commitment to combatting this global threat. The delegation members will play a crucial role in presenting India’s unwavering resolve and the need for strict action against perpetrators of terror acts.

Overall, the all-party delegations represent India’s united front against terrorism and emphasize the country’s message of zero tolerance towards such heinous acts. As they embark on their visits, they are poised to showcase India’s strong stand and commitment to global peace and security.
