The Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Anil Parab recently shared his thoughts on the possibility of an alliance between Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena (UBT) and Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). According to Parab, Uddhav Thackeray has expressed his willingness to set aside any past disputes and join forces with Raj Thackeray for the greater good of Maharashtra. Now, it is up to Raj Thackeray to decide if he wants to move forward with the alliance. Parab emphasized that the people of Maharashtra are eager to see the Thackeray brothers come together, highlighting the positive attitude of Shiv Sena (UBT) towards discussions.

Anil Parab also took a dig at the BJP, criticizing their handling of internal affairs and the recent induction of Chhagan Bhujbal in the state cabinet. He pointed out that despite having a strong majority, the BJP government seems to be more focused on internal politics rather than addressing the concerns of their workers. Parab further questioned the delay in conducting local body elections, especially in light of the Supreme Court’s directive to hold elections within four months as per the OBC quota.

On the topic of Mumbai civic polls, Parab expressed his confusion over the delay in announcing the elections, stating that there is no legal impediment to holding the elections promptly. He also raised concerns about the BJP-appointed administrator overseeing the affairs of the Mumbai civic body, suggesting that the government was exerting undue influence on the administration.

In addition, Parab criticized BJP MLA Ashish Shelar for his remarks on Shiv Sena (UBT)’s chances in the upcoming BMC elections. He questioned Shelar’s predictions and reminded him that the public ultimately decides the outcome of elections. Parab also took a swipe at Shelar, suggesting that even corporators from his own constituency may not be re-elected.

Overall, Anil Parab’s comments shed light on the political dynamics in Maharashtra and the ongoing discussions about potential alliances between different parties. As the state gears up for elections, it remains to be seen how these developments will impact the political landscape in Maharashtra.
