Moreover, Shinde underscored the implementation of a Rs 20,000 per hectare bonus for paddy production, aimed at supporting farmers in the region and boosting agricultural productivity. Additionally, plans are underway to position Vidarbha as a logistics hub by investing in infrastructure development to catalyze industrial growth. Projects worth Rs 70,000 crore have been approved to stimulate industrial development in Vidarbha and Marathwada, with new initiatives launched in Surajgad during Shinde’s tenure.

During the past two and a half years, Shinde and his team have convened 86 Cabinet meetings, making over 850 crucial decisions to ensure Vidarbha’s advancement. In response to attempts to distort statements made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Shiv Sena MLAs staged a protest in the Legislative Assembly premises.
