Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami recently spoke at a rally in Mumbai, highlighting the achievements of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government and campaigning for the BJP and the ruling alliance in the lead-up to the Maharashtra Assembly elections in 2024. CM Dhami commended PM Modi’s leadership and the development projects undertaken in Maharashtra and Uttarakhand, such as the national highway network and the Mumbai-Delhi Expressway.
He emphasized the impact of government schemes such as the Ujjwala scheme and the Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, which have benefited millions of people in Maharashtra. CM Dhami also praised the BJP for fulfilling its promises, including significant changes like the removal of Article 370, the abolition of triple talaq, and the construction of the Ram Temple.
In contrast, he criticized the opposition parties, accusing them of focusing on their own families’ interests and engaging in corruption, appeasement, and nepotism. He urged the people of Maharashtra to support the BJP in the upcoming elections to continue the development work initiated by the government.
During the rally, CM Dhami highlighted the support of the Uttarakhand community in Maharashtra and called for their active participation in the electoral process. He praised BJP leader Ashish Shelar for his dedication to the Uttarakhand community and encouraged community members to spread awareness about his campaign.
The Maharashtra Assembly elections are scheduled for November 20, with votes to be counted on November 23. The opposition MVA coalition, comprising Congress, Shiv Sena, and the Nationalist Congress Party, is aiming to regain power in the state, challenging the Mahayuti alliance, which includes Shiv Sena, BJP, and NCP.
