This ain’t your regular maintenance gig, alright? The Western Railway (WR) is going all out with a 35-hour rail block between Kandivali and Borivali stations, starting at 1pm on Friday, April 26th and going on till midnight on Sunday, April 28th.
Over 163 train services are gonna be axed during this time, all because they gotta replace some girders over the 5th line, the Kandivali Carshed line, and the Yard line on the eastern side of the track. What’s the big deal, you ask? Well, it’s all part of some fancy upgrades to make room for more trains in the future. And let me tell you, this ain’t gonna just mess with the local trains.
