Tragic Accident: BEST Bus Fatally Strikes 55-Year-Old Pedestrian in South Mumbai

The victim, identified as Hasenar Anduhi, a resident of Badaiyabuka Bela in Kasaragod district, Kerala, was hit by a speeding motorcycle before being run over by the bus near the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. The tragic sequence of events unfolded around 4:30 pm on Wednesday, leaving Mr. Anduhi fatally injured.

According to officials, the pedestrian was first hit by a motorbike near Hotel Shivala, leading to his fall on the road. In a harrowing turn of events, the BEST bus, en route from Anushakti Nagar to the Electric House in South Mumbai, proceeded to run over Mr. Anduhi, claiming his life. The driver of the bus, Dnyandeo Jagdale, was promptly taken into custody for further investigation by authorities.
